2022 PE Investments in Indian Real Estate at USD 3.4 billion, at par with 2021

4 January 2023: Private equity investments inflows into the Indian real estate sector stood at USD 3.4 billion (INR 271 billion) at the end of 2022. This is at par with the investment quantum registered in 2021, according to the latest data by Savills India, a global property consulting firm.

International real estate firm Savills has forged the first large transaction in 2023, the commercial development of Florient Rise, West 9 Zone at No. 38 Cherry Street, Tai Kok Tsui, Kowloon. The property was sold to Sunlight REIT for HK$748 million. The property has an approximate gross floor area of 58,836 square feet.
