Savills Singapore Expands Offering With New Business Valuation & Advisory Team

• Appointment of seven experienced professionals to create new Business Valuation & Advisory Team
• Creates unique full service offering to meet growing demand across South East Asia 
• Business Valuation & Advisory Team to be led by industry veteran, Eric Teo, and complement Savills existing Valuation & Advisory offering 
• Positions Savills for further continued growth in the region in 2019

Savills, one of the world’s leading real estate services providers, announces the expansion of its offering with a new Business Valuation & Advisory Team. The team will be made up of seven experienced professionals and directly complement Savills existing real estate Valuation & Advisory business.

The Business Valuation & Advisory team will bring significant expertise by providing business valuation and advisory services including the valuing of companies, equity interests, shares and intangible assets for all purposes and providing strategic advice to organisations in varying stages of their development.

The team will be led by Eric Teo, an industry veteran who has over 25 years of professional experience. Eric is presently Chairman of the International Valuation Standards Council’s (IVSC) Membership and Standards Recognition Board and Founding Chairman of the Council of the Institute of Valuers and Appraisers of Singapore (IVAS). IVSC sets the International Valuation Standards for the global valuation profession, and IVAS is an institute set up by the Singapore Accountancy Commission, a Statutory Body of the Ministry of Finance, to advance the business valuation profession. Eric is also actively involved in academia and is an Adjunct Associate Professor/Faculty of NTU, SUSS, SMU, SIT and Murdoch University.

Eric will be joined by Jason Doan and Jason Tan, both Executive Directors, who bring over 60 years of experience between them. The team will be based in Singapore and work with clients across South East Asia. This new setup will be part of Savills Valuation & Advisory business.
