String of Appointments Bolsters Retail Investments Team

Savills Australia has bolstered its Retail Investments team with the appointments of Director Ben Stewart, Associate Director Andrew Palmer and Associate Director Tom Forrest.

Based in the Sydney office, Ben Stewart returns to Savills after four years with Knight Frank, working within their retail investment sales team. Prior to this, Ben had worked in the Savills Valuations team, both in London and Sydney, for five years, and a further three and a half years as an integral member of the Savills Retail Investments team.

With more than 15 years’ experience specialising in retail shopping centre valuations and sales, we are delighted to welcome Ben back to Savills. Ben will be commencing with Savills on 8 February, 2016.

Working alongside Ben will be Andrew Palmer who has also joined Savills from Knight Frank, having spent just over three years within their CBD commercial sales team, and more recently, over the past two years, as a senior executive within the retail investment sales team.

Tom Forrest joins Savills from Vicinity Centres (formerly Federation Centres and Centro) where he worked within the capital transactions area. Having been involved in over $6 billion worth of transactions, Tom has extensive experience in both the sale and acquisition of retail shopping centres. With over 15 years’ experience in the property industry, Tom brings with him a sound knowledge base and skillset, having also worked as a retail valuer for M3 Property.

Based in our Melbourne office, Tom will be joining forces with Pat De Maria, Associate Director, Retail Investments.
