Savills extends its building & project consultancy services

28 February 2019

Following the recent restructuring, the project management team at Savills has been renamed building & project consultancy, headed by Jakub Jędrys, an expert with 16 years’ experience in real estate, who joined the firm last year. The two business lines of the building & project consultancy team will be led by Savills two employees: Łukasz Michalak, who together with his team will deliver tenant fit-out advisory services, while Krzysztof Kuciński will coordinate asset technical advisory assignments.

“Changes to the building & project consultancy team result from our strategy for this business line, which is both to support large, corporate tenants in fit-out projects and to deliver asset technical advisory to real estate owners. The team’s name corresponds to its equivalent in our global structures and is more appropriate for the areas of our expertise where we can support our clients,” says Tomasz Buras, CEO of Savills in Poland.

The building & project consultancy team at Savills delivers comprehensive services in construction project planning, budgeting, design and oversight. This includes office, retail and warehouse fit-out project management, workplace strategy solutions, technical due diligence and advice on green certification of buildings.

“Clients are increasingly requiring professional and solid technical advisory services due to recent market changes. Due to rising costs of construction materials, limited availability and flexibility of contractors, our services have become more important than ever before as this is where we are able to deliver the most value today,” says Jakub Jędrys, head of building & project consultancy at Savills.

In addition, two new professionals have joined the building & project consultancy team as project managers. Piotr Stańko will be responsible for project coordination, oversight and due diligence processes. Previously, he was a contract manager at CBRE Global Workplace Solutions for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and a construction engineer at cmT. He had earned an engineering degree from the Warsaw University of Technology. Piotr Ziąbrowski will be responsible for office fit-out advisory. Prior to joining Savills, he worked for Reesco. Piotr is a graduate of the Warsaw University of Technology.
