A new investor in Poznań - transcosmos has leased an office at IKEA's building

Founded in Japan in 1966, transcosmos is providing contact center, IT and digital marketing services to some of the largest brand name organisations in the world. The company has 40,000+ global professionals in 176 operating centres in 34 countries. Its global clients include brands such as Microsoft, Canon, Panasonic, Yamaha, Durex and L’Oréal. The firm will operate a call centre at Centrum Franowo.

Transcosmos is planning to expand and turn its Poznań operating centre into one of its key Global outsourcing hubs in the coming years, and to create up to 500 jobs in the city.

Julia Burda and Piotr Skuza from Savills Poznań office advised the tenant on the choice of the office location.

“Transcosmos is debuting on the Poznań market. It entered Poland in 2017 with its first office in Warsaw. The choice of Poznań was driven, among other things, by the city’s strong labour pool with high levels of language proficiency. Centrum Franowo boasts first-rate retail and F&B facilities and guarantees the tenant an option to expand in this location, which is particularly relevant to our client’s growth strategy,” says Piotr Skuza, Associate, Regional Manager, Office Agency, Savills.

Centrum Franowo is a mixed-use two-floor building in Szwedzka Street in Poznań. It features a shopping centre on the ground floor and approximately 8,400 sq m of office space on the first floor which received a BREEAM certificate with an Excellent rating. The building was delivered to the market in 2017.
