Savills Studley Improves Operations for Good Shepherd Services in Bronx Renewal

Savills Studley, the leading commercial real estate advisory firm specializing in tenant representation, announced that it worked with Good Shepherd Services on renewing the organization’s lease and improving its facility in the University Heights area of The Bronx.

Good Shepherd Services is a nonprofit that strives to connect children, youth and families living in under-resourced neighborhoods with opportunities for success by providing a network of youth and family development, education and child welfare services.

Good Shepherd Services has had an outpost in University Heights for over 10 years as the anchor tenant of 7 West Burnside Avenue (at Jerome Avenue), occupying 20,000 square feet. In advance of the building’s recent sale to The Jemstone Group, LLC, Savills Studley Senior Managing Directors Howard Poretsky and Patrick Gardner negotiated a lease renewal for Good Shepherd Services with the new landlord and secured a significant tenant improvement allowance that will allow the nonprofit to fix long-standing issues with its facility and increase its efficiency.
