Imperial Capital, LLC Relocates to Full Floor in Century City, Calif.

27 July 2016

Imperial Capital, LLC has signed a long-term lease for the entire 24th floor at 10100 Santa Monica Boulevard in Century City, Calif. The full-service investment banking firm will occupy its new 24,203-square-foot home in the first quarter of 2017. Imperial Capital was previously located at 2000 Avenue of the Stars, also in Century City.

John Bertram, Executive Managing Director, and Craig Newlands, Managing Director, with global real estate firm Savills Studley, advised Imperial Capital in the lease transaction.

“This represented a rare opportunity to secure an entire floor in the building, one of the preeminent locations in Los Angeles,” said Newlands. “The floor-to-ceiling windows maximize spectacular views, including those overlooking the Los Angeles Country Club.”

The property is within walking distance of the Westfield Century City shopping center which is currently undergoing an $800 million renovation and will include new tenants Nordstrom and the first California branch of Eataly, a fashionable gourmet Italian food emporium co-owned by celebrity chef Mario Batali.

The 26-story, 605,000-square-foot Class A building is owned by 10100 Santa Monica Inc. Todd Later of Hines represented the ownership in the transaction.
