British BIDs strengthens team with appointment of chair

Operating from the firm’s London Margaret Street office, Nic will be providing consultancy support and expertise on BID management strategy, governance and policy whilst also supporting the senior management team in opportunities for business development. Nic is Chief Executive of South Bank Business Improvement District, and South Bank Employers’ Group (SBEG) and will retain his responsibilities for both. Current Chief Executive Chris Turner moves into the role of Head of Research with immediate effect.

Nic has over 30+ years’ experience working for South Bank BID, SBEG, the National Trust, Heritage Lottery Fund, English Heritage, the Woodland Trust, Groundwork, and the Westway Trust, and is currently the Chair of the British BIDs Advisory Board.

Nic Durston, chair of British BIDs, comments: “I am very pleased to take on the role of Chair.
