Two new retailers sign up for Idlewells Shopping Centre, Sutton-in-Ashfield

International real estate advisor Savills, on behalf of Eisinger Limited and its fund manager Ellandi, has let two retail units at Idlewells Shopping Centre, Sutton-in-Ashfield. 

Brighthouse, a leading pay weekly retailer which sells home furnishings and appliances, has agreed a new 10-year lease for a 1,372 sq ft (127 sq m) store at an annual rent of £20,000.  Additionally, hearing aid and hearing care specialist Amplifon has taken a 992 sq ft (92 sq m) unit on a 10-year lease at £18,000 per annum. 

The centre, which is anchored by New Look, Argos, JD Sports, Specsavers and B&M, has an annual footfall of more than 5.1 million.  It also houses Sutton-in-Ashfield’s library and indoor market.

Steve Henderson, retail director at Savills, comments: "Idlewells Shopping Centre has attracted a host of new retailers in the last 12 months and is now 95% let.  There are a further two units under offer and we looking forward to working with Ellandi to maximise the centre’s potential over the coming months.”
