Mr Hayden’s achievements include leading Sweett Group through a period of significant organisational change and transitioning the private Australian business to an international PLC (Public Listed Company) on the AIM market in the UK, as well as managing the acquisition of Padgham and Partners in 2010 which was of significant strategic importance to the Group.

Managing Director, Project Management, Savills Australia and New Zealand, Gary Finnegan, said he was pleased to be able to make such a high calibre appointment to a pivotal role within the Victorian branch.

“It is always pleasing that the business is able to entice such highly regarded candidates. It reflects well on the business and provides us with people who can make an immediate impact.

“I am more than confident that David will utilise his substantial knowledge and experience to further build on the success of Savills Victorian Project Management business,” Mr Finnegan said.

He said Mr Hayden’s appointment would allow former Victorian State Director, Chris Adam, to focus on new duties following his recent promotion to National Director – Commercial.
