27 April 2016

Leading international real estate adviser Savills recently announced that its China operation has been honoured Best Real Estate Agency China (Five-star) and Highly Commended Property Consultancy China at the International Property Awards 2016-2017. Savills is the only real estate advisory firm operating in China to have won these two top honours.

The annual International Property Awards celebrates the highest levels of achievement by companies operating in all sectors of the real estate industry. An International Property Award is a world-renowned mark of excellence, and winners are considered the leaders in the real estate industry. A large number of companies enter themselves into the award race every year. Participants are reviewed by a judging panel of experts from different real estate sectors making the judging process fair and transparent.

Mr Albert Lau, CEO of Savills China said: “Savills has won these two awards for the third consecutive year. It is a great honour to be so highly recognised within the industry. These awards not only reflect the excellence of our professional service, but also highlight the ever-growing strength and established dominance of Savills within the competitive market place. There is no better reward for our persistent efforts over the years.”

Savills also came top of the real estate agent table in the 2016 UK Business Superbrands list for the eighth consecutive year, after securing its title as The Times' Graduate Employer of Choice for Property for the ninth consecutive year in 2015. Other international honours include Property Week’s Best Residential Sales Agency and Leisure Agency.

Shortly before receiving the aforementioned awards, Savills was honoured the title of “2016 Best 10 Preferred Property Management Companies” by the China Real Estate Association and China Real Estate Appraisal. Savills prides itself on the strength of the Project and Development Consultancy which has business coverage across the country and specialises in large mixed-use projects, and Asset Property Management which have a state-granted Grade 1 qualification. In early 2014, Savills Valuation was granted a Grade 1 qualification in real estate valuation by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development Department, a qualification of the highest calibre currently in China.
