Swedish Engineering Firm Switches to Mulgrave

Swedish hi-tech engineering firm, Sandvik has agreed terms on a new five year lease over a modern industrial facility at Mulgrave in Melbourne’s south-eastern suburbs in a deal brokered by Savills Australia.

Located in Gilda Court, the 520 square metre building includes a large 400 square metre office space and 120 square metres of warehousing.

According to Savills Associate Director, Daniel Kelly, who brokered the deal with Lynton Williams, Sandvik will pay circa $100,000 per annum net.

Mr Kelly said Sandvik would relocate from its existing facility at Dandenong.

He said the new premises better suited Sandvik’s current requirements including improved operational efficiency and staff facilities and quick access to the Monash Freeway in a well-established and highly regarded industrial precinct.

The lessor was a Melbourne based investor.
