Master Tailor Brings Fashion to The William

Newly established Melbourne fashion business, Master Tailor, has agreed terms on a new CBD lease at the recently completed The William redevelopment in a deal negotiated by Savills Australia.

Located at shop 3/199 William Street, the 21 square metre tenancy, one of twelve new retail tenancies at the Hengyi developed project, was leased out on a five year term with options at a rental in excess of $1,235 a square metre.

According to Savills Australia’s Joseph Brzezek, who brokered the deal with Victorian Director Retail Services, Michael Di Carlo, the tenant was attracted to a brilliant new space in a completely refurbished building with 529 apartments (86 serviced).

“Master Tailor sought a premises which both offered an address that reflected its market image and which offered first rate access to a broad range of on-site residential and daily CBD clientele.

“Situated within Melbourne’s highly regarded legal precinct, The William more than adequately met those requirements,” Mr Brzezek said.
