24 November 2015

An owner-occupier has paid $265,000 for an industrial premises at Bayswater in Melbourne’s outer eastern suburbs in a deal brokered by Savills Australia.

The 3/54 Malvern Road property comprises a 192 square metre building with an office and parking at the front, three phase power and roller door access.

The property is located in the heart of the Bayswater Industrial precinct providing easy access to all local arterials including Dorset Road and Mountain Highway.

According to Savills Director Gareth Jackson, who negotiated the deal, the property, which sold with vacant possession, attracted a high level of enquiry.

“This was one of those affordable properties which attracted a lot of attention from a hungry market and one which has attracted an increasing share of the residential market as talk of apartment oversupply continues.

“The property appealed as low maintenance and flexible in a good location for a variety of businesses,” Mr Jackson said.

The vendor was a private Melbourne investor.
