Union Investment leases approximately 742 m2 of office space in ITO Tower in Amsterdam

28 March 2024

Union Investment has signed a long-term lease agreement with HabrakenRutten advocaten. The law firm will move into the 10th floor of the ITO Tower on the Zuidas in Amsterdam in mid-2024. The central location, diversity of tenants and variety of hospitality concepts in the plinth of the building make the ITO Tower an attractive location for tenants. Union Investment has been the owner of the ITO Tower since 2014, with the building being one of the leading locations within the Amsterdam real estate portfolio.

Peter Habraken: "As a market leader, HabrakenRutten advocaten focuses on the upper segment of infrastructure, real estate, energy, and technology projects. The Zuidas, with its high concentration of business and financial service providers, combined with optimal accessibility, fits perfectly into our long-term strategy. The ITO Tower provides us with the space to consolidate all our lawyers in one location and further our growth."

Irene van Esseveld, Associate Director Property Management at Savills in the Netherlands, says: "The decision by HabrakenRutten advocaten to establish long-term occupancy within the ITO Tower reaffirms the attractiveness of Amsterdam's Zuidas district to office users, attributed to its array of facilities. Additionally, Union Investment is dedicated to fulfilling the elevated standards of its tenants, with a prominent focus on sustainability. Consequently, we extend our best wishes to HabrakenRutten advocaten for prosperity at their new business establishment.”

Union Investment was assisted in this transaction by Savills. HabrakenRutten advocaten was advised by Van Gool Elburg Vastgoedspecialisten, a Dils Company.
