Deloitte extends lease agreement for The Edge Amsterdam

Accounting and advisory firm Deloitte has extended the lease agreement with landlord Deka Immobilien Investment GmbH for the rental of the office in The Edge in Amsterdam for a long-term period. Deloitte and Deka have entered into a new lease agreement for the rental of approximately 32,130 sq m of office space and 326 parking spaces.

Office building The Edge, located at Gustav Mahlerlaan 2970, is one of the most sustainable office buildings in the Netherlands. In addition to its sustainable character, the building is distinguished by the innovations used, which set a new standard for its users.

With this transaction, Deloitte and Deka have also reached agreement on additional investments in further sustainability of the building. Research shows that this building is still an absolute leader in the field of sustainability with a BREEAM In-Use Excellent certification. In addition, further research is being conducted into the possibilities of meeting the Paris Proof standard, as defined by DGBC. This extension fits perfectly with Deloitte's ambition to support the growth of its workforce.
