Savills Advises Macquarie Asset Management on Acquisition of Dutch Logistics Facilities

Savills, a leading global real estate advisor, has provided advisory services to Macquarie Asset Management in their recent acquisition of a prime distribution center, located at Rotterdam Logistics Park (RLP) in Hellevoetsluis, from Delta Development and ELREP Asset Management LLP. The acquisition was part of Macquarie Asset Management's purchase of two high-quality logistics facilities in the Netherlands on behalf of the Macquarie European Logistics Real Estate Fund.

Strategically positioned near the Port of Rotterdam, the RLP facility is expected to be completed in Q4 2023, offering 47,000 sq m of flexible floor space. With excellent intermodal connections, it provides efficient access for national and international distribution through extensive sea and road links.

The Grade A properties acquired by Macquarie Asset Management are designed to meet high technical standards and are targeting "Very Good" ratings under the BREEAM sustainable building certification scheme upon completion.

This acquisition is part of Macquarie Asset Management's continued investment in the logistics real estate sector.
