Savills Luxembourg signs the Diversity Charter Lëtzebuerg

23 May 2023

In a significant step towards promoting diversity and social equity, Savills Luxembourg has signed the Charter, aligning themselves with the national commitment to foster a diverse and inclusive environment within the organization.

The Diversity Charter Lëtzebuerg is a commitment text available to all organizations operating in Luxembourg, urging them to go beyond statutory duties and implement practical actions promoting diversity. This initiative enjoys the backing of seven privileged private and public partners, including Deutsche Bank, the Ministry for the Family, Integration and the Greater Region, PwC, Linklaters, RBC Investor & Treasury Services, Sodexo and HSBC Luxembourg, in addition to IMS Luxembourg as project leader.

Savills Luxembourg is excited to follow the Charter’s six articles, which provide guidance to organizations for the execution of practices fostering social cohesion and equity. These practices will be rolled out through networks, workshops and conferences involving all employees and partners.

The Diversity Charter Lëtzebuerg is the ninth Charter of its kind in the European Union and a member of the European platform of Diversity Charters led by the European Commission's DG Justice. It also carries the support of the Minister for Family, Integration and the Greater Region, Corinne Cahen.

By joining more than 290 signatories (public, private and voluntary sectors), Savills Luxembourg aligns itself with organizations representing 15% of Luxembourg's payroll. This step attests to the ongoing success of the Diversity Charter Lëtzebuerg within Luxembourg's companies.

As part of this significant development, Savills Luxembourg will continue to prioritize diversity and social equity within its operations, driving inclusivity and positive change within the organization and the real estate industry as a whole.
