Savills recruits Stuart Jordan to head up investment team in Czech Republic

22 June 2017

International real estate advisor Savills has recruited Stuart Jordan to head its investment agency team in the Czech Republic.

Stuart joins Savills after six years with JLL, where he was head of CEE Capital Markets based in Prague and oversaw all investment activity in the Czech Republic. During this period, he was responsible for some of the largest investment transactions in the market, notably the recent sales of The Park, Florentinum, Enterprise Office Centre, Olympia Brno and Arkady Pankrac.

Stuart will work with Jakub Gajdos, Senior Investment Analyst, who also joined Savills from JLL in April this year. Together they oversaw in excess of €3bn of investment activity in this region over the last five years.

Ben Maudling, Head of Savills Czech Republic and Slovakia, comments: “I am extremely pleased to welcome Stuart to Savills Czech and Slovak operation. “With a stellar reputation, they are recognised as the core of the most successful investment team in the Czech market and I am confident they will quickly establish Savills investment team as a market leader.”

Stuart Jordan, Head of Investment, Savills Czech Republic, adds: “I am delighted to be joining Savills in Prague to establish and grow the business alongside Ben Maudling.  The commercial real estate market in the Czech Republic and Slovakia continues to be attractive to a wide range of investors across all sectors, and we look forward to delivering  both strategic and transactional advice for clients who seek a ‘value add’ rather than purely a brokerage service.”

Stuart has spent the last twelve years in the real estate market in CEE working on both agency and client-side investor roles and is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
