Savills to manage Arcona Real Estate's retail portfolio in Poland

International real estate advisor Savills has been appointed by Arcona Capital Real Estate to manage a portfolio of 11 retail properties located in 10 cities across Poland. The fund completed the acquisition of eight properties on 12 December 2016, and the purchase of the remaining three properties will be finalised within the next few weeks.

The retail properties are located in Lodz, Gdansk, Piotrkow, Slupsk, Bydgoszcz, Grudziadz, Torun, Kalisz, Głogow and Inowroclaw. They were  built between 2001-2009 and comprise a total rentable area of 22,897sq m. The principal tenants of these properties include well-known supermarket operators such as Piotr i Paweł, Biedronka and Tesco, as well as pharmacies and drugstores.
