Real I.S. sells ‘Hollandia’ to La Française Real Estate Partners International

Real I.S. (BGV IV AMSTERDAM 1 GMBH & CO. KG fund) has sold the ‘Hollandia’ office building in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, to La Française Real Estate Partners International. The sale comprises approximately 9,950 sqm of office space, divided over a ground floor and 11 upper floors.

City Center
The Hollandia office building is situated in the City Center of Amsterdam at a prime office location at the IJ river, within walking distance of Amsterdam Central Station. Built in 2007, and currently upgraded to meet future standards, the modern office building with an Energy label A is located in a vibrant mixed-use area in the core of central Amsterdam offering a magnificent view over the surrounding area and the waterfront.

Single tenant
TomTom International BV uses the office space of around 9,950 square meters, situated at the Oosterdokstraat 114 in the Eastern Docklands of Amsterdam, as a single tenant. The Dutch company is best known for its innovative navigation systems. Recently the lease agreement to TomTom was extended.

 “The renewal of the Dutch company’s contract in the spring reflects the high level of tenant satisfaction and that the ultra-modern and architecturally very attractive office building in a good location provides an excellent basis for a long-term lease,” says Georg Jewgrafow, Chief Executive Officer of Real I.S. AG.

Reinier Wegman, Head of Sales at Savills Netherlands says: “The Dutch investment market has seen another strong year with volumes for commercial property up 19.4% in Q3 2016 at €5.7 billion compared to an already strong Q3 2015 of €4.8 billion. With deals like this closing in Q4, confirming the ongoing popularity of Amsterdam commercial property, we expect a flourishing end of year.”
