Savills & JLL appointed to lease remaining space in Madrid's Torrespacio

05 October 2016

International real estate advisors Savills and JLL have been appointed to lease the last remaining space in Torrespacio, a state of the art skyscraper located at Cuatro Torres Business Área, in Madrid’s Central Business District.

Constructed almost a decade ago, Torrespacio has just renewed its image and marketing strategy to achieve a fully let position after being sold to a new landlord. The tower boasts high level features in sustainability, with a double “Excellent” BREEAM® rating in construction, finishes and facilities and the maintenance thereof, a rigurous security system and a wide range of services for tenants, which have set a benchmark in the Spanish office market.

Torrespacio is currently home to the UK, Netherlands, Canada and Australia Embassies, and was the first multi-tenanted building of such esteemed proportions in the most modern CBD area, which is now also home to the company headquarters of PwC, KPMG and CEPSA.

With 7,800 sq m currently available across eight different floors, the appointed agents are instructed to secure new tenants to lease the last 13% vacant in the tower.

Ana Zavala, Head of Office Agency at Savills Spain, comments: The Madrid office market is currently experiencing a significant lack of quality supply within the CBD to accommodate more demanding occupiers’ requirements for efficiency, quality of services and workplace flexibility. In this sense, Torrespacio ticks all the boxes and offers an excellent opportunity for corporates seeking a representative headquarters in Madrid, in a space ready for immediate fit out.”
