Savills advises Publicis Group on lease extension in Warsaw's Platinum Business Park

17 August 2016

French advertising giant Publicis Groupe has extended its lease agreement in the  Platinium Business Park in Warsaw, Poland. Eight entities of the group all together have taken nearly 14,000 sq m, enlarging their offices by 1,600 sq m in total. It is the largest office lease transaction in the Warsaw real estate market so far this year. Publicis has been represented by Savills in the transaction while the owner of the complex, Allianz Real Estate, has been represented by White Star Real Estate.

Jarosław Pilch , Head of Tenant Representation Team at Savills Poland, comments: "Having previously represented the Publicis Groupe, we are very proud to have successfully negotiated an extended lease agreement within the Platinium Business Park.  Mokotów is the most popular office district in Warsaw which is currently benefiting from ongoing and planned road infrastructure investments helping it to maintain its reputation as a prime location for business.”

Meike Feistkorn, Asset Manager of Allianz Real Estate Germany GmbH, comments: “We are very pleased to sign the long term leases with the Publicis Groupe. Its commitment to Platinium Business Parkand its reputation as a partner represents a milestone in strengthening the appeal of  this location. We are delighted that the consistent infrastructural upgrade of the park area in the centre of the property is appreciated by our tenants.”

“There are only a few office projects in Warsaw that could meet the expectations of a tenant like Publicis Groupe. Eight entities of the group have their offices in five different buildings across Platinium Business Park. Each entity has its own individual character and business and therefore requires different specifications concerning its office space. Because of the size of the complex, we are able to react quickly to the changing needs of Publicis and at the same time guarantee the development of all eight entities inside one office complex, which was one of the key factors in the decision process for prolonging the lease agreements,” says Dariusz Domański, Junior Partner, Development and Leasing Director at White Star Real Estate.
