Savills Continues to Expand San Diego Presence with Addition of Preston Lynn

SAN DIEGO (November 13, 2023) – Savills is further expanding its presence in San Diego with the addition of industry veteran Preston Lynn. Savills has tapped Lynn to serve as a senior managing director in its rapidly growing San Diego office.

An experienced commercial real estate broker with over a decade in the industry, Lynn has a track record of negotiating complex and high-value transactions for a diverse client base. Lynn is an MBA graduate with proven leadership expertise. Among his notable transactions are Salesforce’s Dallas office lease for 104,870 square feet, National Life Group’s 115,000-square-foot Dallas office expansion and Alkami Technology’s headquarters lease for 125,000 square feet in Plano, Texas. In his new role with Savills, Lynn will help to expand the firm’s consulting services offerings across the west region.

Most recently, Lynn served as First Vice President on the Brokerage Services team with CBRE in Dallas, where he represented local and national clients, providing advisory and transaction management services for acquisitions, relocations, expansions, and renewals for corporate office users. He was also responsible for spearheading new business development in Texas in his previous role.

Lynn’s hire comes on the heels of Savills significantly bolstering its team in San Diego, while simultaneously expanding the reach of its North American Life Sciences practice, with the hiring of industry veterans Shane Poppen, Craig Knox, and Zach Millrood as vice chairmen just a few short weeks ago. Poppen was tapped to serve as San Diego market leader and also as West region co-leader of the firm’s Life Sciences practice alongside Knox.
