Savills Adds David Mahoney to Tenant Representation Roster

CHICAGO (October 3, 2023) – Savills today announced the addition of David Mahoney to its Chicago office as senior managing director. Mahoney will specialize in office leasing and his arrival will expand the firm’s tenant representation expertise throughout the Midwest.

Mahoney brings over 15 years of experience to Savills and joins from CBRE, where he was senior vice president. Throughout his career, he has represented a wide array of companies in the legal, healthcare, and financial services industries, and has closed more than $1.5 billion real estate transactions. Prior to joining CBRE, he worked in the tenant representation group at U.S. Equities Realty. Before entering the industry, he played professional soccer for the Chicago Fire, where he was a member of the Fire’s 2006 U.S. Open Cup championship team.

Along with Mahoney, the firm recently added Brian Czarnecki as managing director to its industrial brokerage team in Chicago. Savills also named Katrina Kostic Samen as vice chair and head of Savills Workplace Studio | North America. The additions of Mahoney, Czarnecki, and Samen strengthen the firm’s ability to provide timely strategies and customized solutions for clients across the Midwest and nationally.
