Savills Strengthens Industrial Services Platform with Addition of Industry Veteran Michael Royce

Royce joins the firm as a Corporate Managing Director

WASHINGTON (SEPTEMBER 20, 2023) – Savills today announced that Michael Royce has joined the firm’s North American Industrial Services team as a Corporate Managing Director. Royce, an industry veteran with more than three decades of experience and a transaction volume totaling over $3.2 billion and 58.7 million square feet, will work out of the firm’s Tyson’s Corner office.

Royce previously served as Executive Senior Vice President at KLNB, where he was instrumental in growing the firm’s industrial services capabilities in the Mid-Atlantic region. Prior to that, he worked at Avison Young, Cassidy Turley, Cushman & Wakefield and Transwestern.

Recognized for his work in the sector, Royce has been repeatedly named a “Top Five Industrial Broker” in the Washington, D.C. region. His professional affiliations include the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR), Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals and National Association of Office and Industrial Properties (NAIOP). He is a graduate of the University of Maryland.

Royce joins a roster of recent Industrial Services hires Savills has made, most notably J.C Renshaw and an eight-person team in Montreal, all of whom joined the firm in the past year. In addition to these key hires, the team has expanded its research and data capabilities significantly since the hire of its Head of Industrial Research Mark Russo in late 2021.
