Elevate Collegiate Charter School Establishes Permanent Campus in Houston

HOUSTON (July 6, 2023) – Savills represented Elevate Collegiate Charter School, an open enrollment charter school for PreK through fifth grade students, in acquiring a 16,720-square-foot facility for its main campus. Elevate signed a long-term lease for the two-story building located at 3129 Southmore Boulevard in the Greater Third Ward submarket.

“Elevate had outgrown its current location at 2410 Hamilton Street and sought a larger facility to house its increasing enrollment,” said Savills Senior Managing Director Lesa Nickelson French, who oversaw the real estate strategy. “Elevate serves students in the Greater Third Ward submarket and it was important to find a facility in the area that the school could quickly renovate to open for the next school year. We discovered a facility on Southmore Boulevard that was previously used as a school and enables Elevate to reuse existing infrastructure and revamp the building to its specifications. We are pleased to find a long-term solution for Elevate that serves the needs of the community and the future of families in the Greater Third Ward.”

Elevate will also have the option to expand the property as enrollment increases to occupy additional square footage including green space. Project management and construction for the facility is being overseen by Texas Charter School Development.
