Savills Announces ANSER’s 40,000-square-foot Headquarters Relocation

25 April 2023

WASHINGTON (April 25, 2023) – Savills announced today that it represented ANSER in securing the non-profit corporation’s 12-year, 40,000-square-foot lease at 4040 Wilson Boulevard in Arlington, Virginia. ANSER is relocating its headquarters from their current location in Falls Church to Arlington’s Ballston neighborhood.

“ANSER was drawn to the Ballston building’s urban setting, sweeping views of Washington, D.C., and the property’s amenities, including a roof top terrace, penthouse conference room, as well as multiple health and wellness offerings. The move reflects the company’s goals of providing employees with access to lively, urban environments, including easily accessible retail, convenience, and cultural amenities, supporting their focus on work-life integration,” said Wendy Feldman Block, executive managing director at Savills.

The Savills team representing ANSER included Feldman Block, David Cornbrooks, Ken Biberaj, Danielle Ferrari, Ann Linstrom and Johanna Rodriguez. Lincoln Property’s Gary Cook and Stoddie Nibley represented the building owner, the Shooshan Company.

An integral part of the work undertaken by Savills included an in-depth workplace analysis of ANSER’s needs, evaluation of a broad geography as well as project management services.  The Savills team employed a strategic approach to identify efficiencies to be gained in quality, utilization, and layout for ANSER’s new headquarters.

The new, modern headquarters will enhance ANSER’s efficiency and productivity. It will include high-tech conference, collaboration, teaming rooms, media centers, and other specialty spaces. Additionally, 4040 Wilson is LEED Gold certified and is currently pursuing a Fitwell Certification.

“Savills was instrumental in ANSER’s pursuit of new, quality workspace for our employees, partners, and clients reflecting our commitment to fostering collaboration, innovation, and sustainability. We look forward to a new facility with modern infrastructure, substantially more meeting space, and substantially more classified space in a thriving community for many years to come,” said ANSER’s President and CEO, Steve Hopkins.
