Savills Promotes Josh Gorin in LA, Robert Sevim in Chicago and Mark O’Donnell in Texas

NEW YORK (March 8, 2023) – Savills today announced that Vice Chairmen Josh Gorin, Robert Sevim and Mark O’Donnell were elevated from market leaders to president, Los Angeles region; president, Chicago region; and president, Texas region. They are among Savills most accomplished professionals and played significant roles in the firm’s growth over their careers.

“Elevating Josh, Robert and Mark to these critically important roles represents a key step in the evolution of Savills operational structure,” said David Lipson, president, Savills North America. “In an industry no longer defined by borders, it is critical that we tap the next generation of senior leaders who demonstrate the ability and desire to execute our broad corporate strategy.”

In their new roles, they will work closely with Patrick McGrath, president, West, and Janet Woods, president, East. In addition to their regional and global tenant representation and advisory work, and leading their teams, Gorin, Sevim and O’Donnell will also be responsible for recruiting efforts in their local offices, identifying growth areas, and fostering collaboration between business functions.

Gorin began his career at Savills in 1997, Sevim in 2005 and O’Donnell in 2003. Since joining Savills, they have been among the firm’s top producers and executed market-leading transactions throughout the world.

Gorin has negotiated more than 30 million square feet of transactions, in the Los Angeles region and globally, advising and negotiating transactions on behalf of numerous prominent technology, finance and media companies.

Sevim has advised a vast array of companies in the Chicago region and globally, executing well over 30 million square feet of transactions on behalf of firms in the financial services, legal, healthcare and technology sectors.

O’Donnell has represented several of the Southwest region’s largest tenants, with a focus on energy, engineering, financial services, and law firms.

As two of four Founders and co-Chairs of Savills Academy, an internal professional enrichment program, Gorin and Sevim have dedicated significant time and effort to support and mentor the next generation of client-facing professionals and top advisors.

Their appointments follow a series of recent leadership announcements for Savills.

Eric Feinberg, a vice chairman in the firm’s Chicago office, will maintain his role as Chicago market leader and is being appointed to Savills Future Strategy Board – an advisory board comprised of cross-functional and intergenerational leaders responsible for establishing Savills longer-term strategic priorities – and will be part of the firm’s Academy leadership team.

Mike Catalano will serve as a senior advisor to Savills North American Business Development team. His role will involve providing a senior broker’s perspective to support business development efforts in the US and abroad, while acting as a liaison for brokers in North America.

Feinberg and Catalano, two longtime Savills professionals, have each been with the company for more than 20 years and will continue to play leading roles in elevating their respective offices.
