Savills Hires J.C. Renshaw in Expansion of Industrial Platform Capabilities in North America

NEW YORK (December 20, 2022) – Savills today announced the appointment of J.C. Renshaw as a senior supply chain consultant based in Charleston, SC. Renshaw, an industry veteran with 30 years of experience, will work with clients across sectors to navigate the complex intersections of labor, infrastructure, logistics, and incentives and to address issues and opportunities within their supply chains.

Renshaw will serve as one of Savills primary supply chain advisors for key accounts and clients in the Charleston market and across the United States and Canada. His primary focus areas will be network strategy and optimization; inside-the-box layout, flow, and operational efficiency; and capability maturity and performance opportunities. By working with clients to identify their supply chains' specific needs and aspirations, Renshaw will specifically help execute strategic and tactical solutions for network transformation and optimization. His strategies will aim to improve costs, service, growth, performance management, technology, systems utilization, optimization, insource/outsource process, and operational capability enhancements.

Since Gregg Healy joined Savills as the head of its Industrial services platform in May 2021, the firm's industrial team has continued to expand in both number of brokers as well as consulting resources. Renshaw joins Healy and the thriving integrated service and technology platform spanning manufacturing, distribution, and retail. 

Prior to joining Savills, Renshaw's accomplished background included consulting with Accenture and other commercial real estate firms on distribution operations. He was previously a director with Avison Young and a principal with Honour Consulting. Renshaw spent the first part of his career with Home Depot, building, launching and managing distribution centers and networks. 

A graduate of Clemson University, Renshaw was selected to Accenture's Innovation and Thought Leadership group for his expertise in the supply chain, a designation reserved for a distinct handful of Accenture's large global workforce recognized for deep expertise in their respective field. He is also a member of the South Carolina Board of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals and the Industrial Asset Management Council.
