Savills Studley, the leading commercial real estate firm specializing in tenant representation, has hired Brendan J. Kiley as managing director of the firm’s national Critical Facilities Group. In his new role, Kiley will work alongside Rick Drescher, Ian Zilla, and David Gordon to develop and expand business opportunities for data center clients across the country.

Kiley most recently served as a business development director at IO Data Centers, where he developed partner relationships with carriers, managed service providers and identified sales opportunities for IO’s data centers globally. Prior, he worked at Newmark Knight Frank, where he specialized in tenant representation of corporate clients in the New Jersey data center market. His work experience has also spanned the telecommunications industry, where he held positions with major network operators including MCI Worldcom.

“Brendan’s background working with high-profile tenants at a nationally-recognized data center operator brings a unique skill set to our team,” said Rick Drescher, Managing Director, Technical Services at Savills Studley. “His industry expertise, relationships and extensive knowledge of telecommunications and data centers will be an asset for our group as we continue our focus on new business development and delivering the highest level of service to our clients.”

“The Savills Studley team has earned a reputation for being among the most technically and financially sophisticated advisors in the industry. I am excited to work with Rick, Ian and David to expand on the success of the group and leverage my experience and relationships to further grow the practice,” said Kiley. “The team’s ability to develop integrated strategies that include traditional colocation, network optimization and cloud services set the group apart in the industry and provide clients with the right mix of infrastructure solutions to meet their goals.”

Kiley attended the University of Massachusetts where he studied Economics.
