Frank McCafferty Joins Savills Studley in Dallas

09 December 2015

Savills Studley, the leading commercial real estate services firm specializing in tenant representation, has hired Frank McCafferty as Executive Managing Director and Co-Branch Manager for its Dallas office. He will work alongside Savills Studley Executive Vice President and Co-Branch Manager, Kelly Winn, to run and expand the firm’s operations in Dallas.

McCafferty joins Savills Studley with nearly 25 years of commercial real estate experience across several disciplines, including tenant representation, corporate services, development and construction management. Throughout his tenure, he has advised clients from a broad range of market sectors including government, pharmaceutical, health care, engineering, communications, financial services, and consumer products.

“Our goal is to grow the Dallas office into the city’s premier tenant representation team, focusing on its booming office and industrial markets,” said Mark O’Donnell, Executive Vice President, who will be assisting McCafferty and Winn in their recruitment and business development efforts in the Dallas region. “Frank’s leadership and expertise are critical to our success and expansion in the market.”

Prior to joining Savills Studley, Frank served as the West Region Portfolio Services leader for Cushman & Wakefield, where he focused his efforts on providing tenant representation services and integrated services to corporate clients. Previously, McCafferty served as Senior Vice President with UGL Equis and as a Senior Asset Manager for the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) in the Mid-Atlantic Region, developing over $1 billion in federal facilities.

“As the commercial real estate industry experiences unprecedented changes, it is with enthusiasm and unwavering commitment that I join Savills Studley’s tenant-focused platform,” McCafferty said. “Through its strategic acquisitions Savills Studley has positioned itself for tremendous growth in the years to come, and I’m excited to build upon its platform in Dallas to serve tenants globally and throughout the Southwest.”

Winn added, “With his stellar reputation in the Dallas market, I welcome Frank to Savills Studley and look forward to working with him as we build our brand locally as the global leader in tenant representation.”

Savills Studley, which recently announced the addition of new offices in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Austin, Texas, and Phoenix, Arizona, closed on three major acquisitions in the past 12 months, including the acquisition of Cooper Brady Partners in Silicon Valley—the top performing firm in one of the nation’s hottest markets; the purchase of Tampa-based Vertical Integration, bolstering its Occupier Services and workforce strategy businesses; and the acquisition of New York-based management consulting firm KLG Advisors, a well-known firm that provides strategic location and workforce advisory services, including portfolio evaluation and realignment, to large corporations. Since joining forces with London-headquartered Savills plc in 2014, the firm continues to focus on expanding its service lines through additional acquisitions while growing its presence in major markets across the United States.
