mOcean Renews Los Angeles Office Lease

19 May 2016

mOcean has renewed its office lease at 2440 S. Sepulveda Boulevard in West Los Angeles. The agency, which crafts motion picture trailers and broadcast network campaigns, occupies 28,312 square feet in the two-story, 200,000-square-foot creative office building. The renewal will take effect in January of 2017.

John Bertram, executive managing director, and Josh Gorin, senior vice president and branch manager, of global tenant advisory firm Savills Studley, represented mOcean in the transaction. “Our client was pleased to remain in a location that provides easy access to the entire Westside and works well for both its employees and its clients,” said Bertram. “The property’s innovative setting also supports mOcean’s mission to continue developing breakthrough campaigns for forward-thinking clients.”

The free-standing building was converted from a manufacturing facility to creative office space in the 1990s and was one of the first such conversions. It is located in close proximity to the 405 and 10 freeways.

mOcean’s staff includes over 140 editors, producers, writers, animators, graphic designers and support personnel in its West LA and Burbank offices.

Harvey Capital Corporation is the building landlord and was represented in-house.
