Expanding Its Southwest Presence, Savills Studley Establishes New Austin Office at 300 West 6th Street

01 August 2016

Savills Studley, the leading commercial real estate services firm specializing in tenant representation, announced today that it will establish its new Austin offices at 300 West 6th Street, a class A, 454,225-square-foot tower in the city’s central business district.

With this relocation, Savills Studley will occupy a portion of the 15th floor of the property beginning in July 2016. The interior of the new office will be designed by Gensler, highlighted by a contemporary floorplan with a mix of collaborative spaces and private offices.

“The growth of our Austin office is just one of the many exciting developments that Savills Studley has going on both locally and nationally,” said Mark Russell, Executive Vice President and Branch Manager of Savills Studley’s Austin office. “Not only are we representing some of the most exciting and dynamic companies in the Central Texas growth corridor, but we are actively recruiting, growing our service lines and bolstering our presence across the country in the nation’s hottest tech cities. With our new space, we will benefit from our access to Austin’s intellectual capital as we continue to expand our platform for new and existing clients alike.”

As an industry leader in the Southwest with offices in Houston, Dallas and Phoenix, Savills Studley is known for its influence and expertise developing innovative pro-tenant provisions that over time have become industry standards that are incorporated into lease negotiations. The Savills Studley brand, in turn, is also widely recognized for transactions that shape the market and transform neighborhoods.

The new Austin office is part of the brand’s expansion both locally and nationally. Over the previous 12 months, the firm has established several new offices in growing real estate markets across the United States, including Phoenix, Minneapolis and Baltimore. In addition, the firm has completed several high-profile acquisitions, including the purchase of Real Facilities in Toronto, a major tenant representation consulting firm in Canada; Cooper Brady Partners in Silicon Valley, the top performing firm in one of the nation’s hottest areas; Tampa-based Vertical Integration, which strengthens the firm’s occupier services and workforce strategy business; and New York-based management consulting firm KLG Advisors, a well-known firm that provides strategic location and workforce advisory services, including portfolio evaluation and realignment, to large corporations.

Bounded by Guadalupe Street and Lavaca Street, 300 West 6th Street is a 23-story tower located in close proximity to the State Capitol, Federal Courthouse and the University of Texas, with easy access to Interstate 35 and the Mopac Expressway. Savills Studley will benefit from several on-site amenities and services at the property, including an on-site restaurant, fitness center, 24-hour security and 360-degree views of the Capitol complex, Texas Hill Country and Lady Bird Lake.
