Savills Studley Represents The Segal Group During DC Office Relocation

The Segal Group, a leading benefits, compensation and human resource consulting firm, is relocating its Washington, DC office. Savills Studley, the leading global commercial real estate firm specializing in tenant representation, advised The Segal Group throughout the lease transaction process.

After residing at 1920 N St. NW for more than 35 years, The Segal Group will soon occupy a new 28,952 square foot space at 1800 M St. NW. The recently renovated building sits in the heart of the CBD between Connecticut Ave., 18th St. and Rhode Island Ave.

“Our professionals are excited to move into the new building on M Street. It’s important that we continue to have a presence for our clients in downtown Washington and we appreciate Savills Studley’s guidance throughout the process,” said Ron Merritt, senior vice president at Segal and Washington, DC Office Leader.

“This relocation will allow The Segal Group to upgrade its space to the company’s current standards in a cost-effective manner and continue to enjoy an amenity-rich location,” said Savills Studley Executive Managing Director Steve London, who, along with Senior Vice President Josh Gorin, negotiated the firm’s long term lease agreement.

The move-in date is currently TBD but is scheduled to take place in the 1st Quarter of 2017.
