09 August 2016

Savills Studley, the leading commercial real estate services firm specializing in tenant representation, announces that well-regarded workplace strategist Melissa Marsh has joined its New York City headquarters office as Senior Managing Director – Occupant Experience, further expanding the company’s capabilities and expertise.

“Workplace strategy has developed into an incredibly nuanced, data-driven opportunity to leverage the office environment,” said Marsh. “By joining a firm dedicated to the needs of tenants, our team will provide a comprehensive solution to companies seeking to enhance their employees’ experience.”

“Melissa’s approach to workplace innovation expands our team’s focus to include unique capabilities such as wellness, workplace innovation, design strategy and occupant engagement,” said Michael Colacino, president of Savills Studley. “She will help grow Savills Studley’s capabilities in every market to clients across all industry sectors.”

Marsh is the founder of PLASTARC, a highly successful consulting firm dedicated to the quantitative and qualitative study of tenant requirements. She will continue to direct the company, which will engage in research and product development, resulting in increased awareness and enhanced capabilities for Savills Studley.

A well-known thought leader across the architectural, design and real estate industries, Marsh’s work as an innovator seeks to fundamentally shift the conversation of workplace to occupant experience. As employees become more demanding of their physical surroundings, Marsh believes that buildings must evolve to support the occupants’ needs. Savills Studley remains committed to its core principle of representing tenants, Marsh’s expertise will enable clients to further leverage their office space as an economic asset.

The addition of Marsh to Savills Studley comes as part of the company’ significant ongoing expansion of its North American operations, highlighted by the establishment of seven new offices in U.S. and the opening of the company’s first office in Canada, as well as the acquisition of several key new hires and services lines across the country.
