Savills Adds Workplace Strategy Expert in Los Angeles

10 April 2019

Savills has expanded its Workplace Strategy and Occupant Experience service with the addition of Managing Director Shannon Woodcock. She is based in Los Angeles, with responsibility throughout Southern California, including Downtown Los Angeles, West Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego.

Woodcock works with Savills brokerage and project management teams to help clients optimize their space, integrating her business and design background with a qualitative and quantitative focus on workforce wellness, engagement and effectiveness.

“As companies are increasingly putting employee experience first, we are seeing strong client demand for workplace strategy expertise,” said Mark Sullivan, vice chairman and Western region lead. “Shannon’s depth of experience and leadership in organizational analysis and consulting will help our clients create productive and supportive environments for their workforces of the future.”

Woodcock’s data-driven and people-centric services incorporate workplace consulting and analytics, which include executive visioning sessions; trend analysis and reporting; benchmarking; employee usage surveys and studies; and space planning and programming.

“Joining Savills provides me with the opportunity to engage clients at the inception of their real estate decision-making process,” said Woodcock. “By providing metrics and insight before the client has made site selection or space decisions, we can help drive informed solutions that support dynamic environments, enhance talent attraction and effectiveness, and optimize operating and cost efficiency.”

Prior to Savills, Woodcock was an associate and senior design strategist with HLW International, a design, architecture and planning firm. She has a Bachelor of Science in design and environmental analysis from Cornell University.

Woodcock’s arrival signals the firm’s continued investment in its Workplace Strategy and Occupant Experience services. Last year, Savills announced the addition of prominent design professionals Ann Linstrom and Johanna Rodriguez in Washington, D.C.
