Savills Energy has partnered with NFUS to secure up to 30% off energy bills for Scottish farmers

With an energy office in Perth, Savills is able to offer a local service to Scottish farmers.

Thomas McMillan, Head of Energy in Scotland said:  “It would not be unusual for a farm or rural businesses to have drifted onto a standard rate tariff for energy which is substantially more expensive than a fixed rate contract.  Moving to a fixed rate contract brokered by Savills could deliver savings of up to 30% on your energy bills.  Savills is able to secure energy contracts from one to five years, giving farmers increased certainly on energy costs in uncertain times." 

Savills brokers energy with over 20 suppliers in order to secure the best energy prices for farmers.  We currently broker over £70m of energy annually for a broad range of property clients.  The Affiliate Partnership with NFUS allows the union’s members to benefit from Savills buying power to secure the best energy prices.  In addition, Savills is committed to providing ethical, professional and responsible solutions, taking great pride in delivering services of the highest quality.

Savills is able to set NFUS members up with their own ‘energy portal’ to allow them to track their energy contracts online.  This gives NFUS members full transparency over their energy contracts and costs.  Once Savills has brokered an energy contract, it will be monitored and Savills will be in touch with the NFUS member prior to that contract expiring to ensure that the lowest energy prices are secured in future years.
