Savills Studley Announces New Hire in Charlotte

06 February 2018

Savills Studley, the leading commercial real estate firm specializing in tenant representation, today announced the arrival of Dan Woodley as corporate managing director in the firm’s Charlotte office.

Woodley has nearly 10 years of experience in commercial real estate, focusing primarily on tenant representation. As a licensed broker in North Carolina and South Carolina, he has served clients ranging from local business to Fortune 500 companies across key industry sectors including technology, financial services, professional services and insurance.

“We are focused on key talent acquisitions like Dan to further establish Savills Studley as the region’s premier commercial real estate advisory services provider,” said Charlotte Market Leader Mark Ayers. “His in-depth market knowledge and wide-ranging industry experience enhance the firm’s ability to provide comprehensive and tenacious client advocacy. We are pleased to have Dan on our team.”

Prior to joining Savills Studley, Woodley spent two years as vice president with a commercial brokerage firm in Charlotte. His past projects and transactions include build-to-suit, site selection, relocations, transaction management (local and multi-market), lease renewals and expansions, portfolio analysis and optimization, strategic planning and property disposition.

Woodley’s addition in the Carolinas follows the recent arrival of Melissa Hershner in Charlotte and Barbara Newcomb and Cole Gonet in Raleigh-Durham. “As the Southeast continues to experience rapid population and business growth, it is vital that we cultivate a dynamic and diverse workforce to meet the regional demands of our current and future clients,” said Ayers.

In 2016, Savills Studley expanded its brand presence in the Carolinas with the acquisition of the Cresa locations in Charlotte and Raleigh-Durham. The growing offices have made key talent acquisitions, demonstrated superior analysis and achieved measurable results for the area’s developing business community of financial, energy, corporate, non-profit/education, manufacturing, medical and Fortune 500 firms. The Carolinas offices offer tenant-focused workforce, workplace and real estate solutions, including brokerage, project management, industrial services, capital markets, occupier services and corporate services.
