Savills Singapore Appoints New Managing Director

Savills Singapore announces the appointment of Marcus Loo as Managing Director of Savills Singapore with immediate effect. 

Savills Singapore has grown significantly over the past few years increasing both the strength and breadth of its business and services to become one of the leading international real estate advisors in Singapore.  

Marcus comes from a strong commercial background and has delivered consistently in his previous roles. He has been Executive Director at Savills (Singapore) for close to three years and has been instrumental in building the local team. Prior to joining Savills, he spent 13 years at Colliers International Singapore overseeing its Office Services division. He brings a wealth of experience in real estate and has an intimate knowledge of the real estate industry in Singapore.

Commenting on his appointment Marcus Loo said, “I am honoured to have been appointed for this leadership role. I look forward to the opportunity to build on the growth trajectory of Savills in Singapore and to support Chris and the team with our expansion in this dynamic market.”  

Marcus will be taking over from Steven Ming, who has decided to leave Savills Singapore to pursue his own interests.

Steven Ming commented, “I have decided to take the plunge into private practice after 14 years with Savills where I've seen it grow from a 20-plus man operation to one that is almost 1,200 strong today. I'm glad to be leaving the business in good shape with Chris and the team and I wish them all the very best as they continue to grow the business in Singapore and the region.”
