Snow Hill Wharf, the luxury 404-apartment complex in Birmingham’s Gun Quarter – developed by St Joseph - is launching at The St Regis Singapore, Senator room, ground level (29 Tanglin Road, Singapore 247911) on 8th and 9th of September 2018.

Savills forecasts 17% rental growth to 2021 thanks to the city’s strong economy and diversifying employment centre. Birmingham’s growing working population, constrained housing supply and economic prospects all point towards a strong housing market performance over the next few years. Savills forecasts 14.8% growth in second hand market in the West Midlands over the next five years.

Delivering a much-needed supply of residential properties at the renowned Berkeley Group standard, Snow Hill Wharf will include a mix of one, two and three-bedroom apartments - offering picturesque views of the city and its growing skyline. The first phase of top-quality apartments released sees two blocks The Barker and The Lancaster available for purchase, priced from £189,995 – with The Colmore, The Belmont and The Fazeley launching over the next few years.

Aside from the uniquely designed apartments, the 288,000 sq ft development will also feature three beautifully landscaped podium gardens overlooking the Birmingham and Fazeley Canal – the same waterway that supported the UK’s industrial revolution.

Epitomising this new standard of luxury city living are a host of amenities, including a gymnasium with a sauna and steam room, a luxury residents’ lounge and cinema room, and exclusive access to a 24-hour concierge and security service – enabling residents to enjoy life in a place of tranquillity.

Richard Starkey, Managing Director at St Joseph, said: “Snow Hill Wharf is a development of unrivalled quality that will create a new community in the historic Gun Quarter of the UK’s second city. Birmingham is a property market on the rise and represents a strategic priority for Berkeley Group. By reshaping its residential offering, we aim to attract more people to this great city - a hotbed of investment boasting very strong rental yields and capital growth.”

Cherrin Loo, Director, Savills Singapore, said: “We are honoured to represent St Joseph and to be a part of their first foray into the Birmingham residential market. Birmingham has been ranked as having the highest quality of life of any English city outside the capital. Its 8,000 acres of parkland and open spaces make it one of the greenest conurbations in the country."

She added,"The city in the midst of ambitious regeneration and growth, continuously repositions itself as a major regional centre and is receiving billions of pounds worth of investment to enhance the infrastructure and connectivity across the region. We expect the ripple effect of Londoners moving towards the commuter belt, bringing with them London's equity and thus allowing Birmingham to witness the most capacity for growth over the next few years. The market for new homes includes the entire city region of 4.1 million people yet there is a predicted shortfall between now and 2031, making it likely that prices will continue to increase. Savills is excited about the next five years in Birmingham’s illustrious lifespan and we think our clients should be too.
