30 August 2018

A primary-grade office/warehouse in Dandenong has sold to a private investor for $5.715 million, highlighting the ongoing demand for high-quality assets in Melbourne’s south-eastern industrial precinct.

Savills Industrial's Kosta Filinis brokered the deal for 17-21 Gaine Road in conjunction with Collins Commercial & Industrial’s John Gazis at a rate of $1,421/sq m.

“The property forms part of the established and highly sought-after industrial precinct known as Quantum Industrial Park,” Mr Filinis said.

“It is surrounded by excellent transport infrastructure, including South Gippsland Highway, South Gippsland Freeway, Pound Road, Greens Road, Dandenong-Frankston Road and Eastlink.”

The 7,756sq m site encompasses corporate offices, a versatile warehouse with high-quality infrastructure, large B-double truck marshalling/hardstand area, two eight-tonne travelling gantry cranes, and 63 marked on-site car parking spaces, and has a minimum internal clearance of eight metres throughout.
