Mark Moran Group announces foray into residential market

29 March 2018

International award-winning company Mark Moran Group, have announced an exciting collaboration into the residential market, with their apartment project, ‘Embrace’ in Warrawee on Sydney’s Upper North Shore.

Located at 1496 Pacific Highway in Warrawee, the project will feature 52 apartments over two buildings and offer a mix of one, two and three-bedroom over-sized apartments.

Known for innovation, most notably the multi award-winning Mark Moran Vaucluse project completed in 2016, the company’s founders, Mark and Evette Moran decided that the time was right to share their expertise, according to David Bacon, Property Director, Mark Moran Group.

“Our development philosophy is to consistently design with integrity and innovation… maintaining a specific focus on user delight and life quality. We develop, own and successfully operate a varied property portfolio across seniors, residential, tourism and hospitality sectors… a collaboration with residential apartments is the next exciting step for the Mark Moran Group.

“Our strength and achievements reflect our ability to bring together exceptional people who deliver outstanding outcomes. Our approach to the Embrace development is no different… we have assembled an exceptional project team to deliver a unique and wonderful setting.

“Embrace will deliver an impressive lifestyle where buyers will experience well-designed, generous oversized house like apartments and great build quality in a location close to key transport, leisure, retail and educational amenities,” said Mr Bacon.

Embrace will be a unique offering in the heart of the North Shore, says Peter Coulton, Director Residential Projects, Savills.

“Situated in a prime Upper North Shore location, just a seven-minute walk to Warrawee Station and with several bus stops literally on its doorstep, Embrace Warrawee offers the backing of the Mark Moran Group, a highly trusted local developer (Mark Moran actually went to the primary school next door!) with a significant track record,” said Mr Coulton.

“Mark and Evette Moran are very highly regarded with innovation and quality.

“Their proven track record will transfer beautifully to the residential apartment market as they have extensive and international experience in creating inclusive and harmonious communities – this is a key point of difference.”

With Knox Grammar School just a seven-minute walk away and a host of other top performing private and public schools nearby, including Abbotsleigh, Barker College and Hornsby Girls High School, Embrace Warrawee enjoys close proximity to the M1 and Sydney Adventist Hospital.

“It even overlooks a nature reserve at the rear of the property,” added Mr Coulton.

“Evette Moran is regarded as one of the most innovative interior designers around. In fact, in 2016 she was awarded Industry Changemaker for innovation for all of Australia and Asia.

“The architects, Benson McCormack Architecture, have worked with landscape architect Charlie Albone from the hit television programme, Selling Houses Australia, to create a beautiful communal courtyard downstairs between the two buildings.

“A rooftop garden will feature BBQs and shading, providing living space extensions and space for a true community to foster. There will even be citrus trees and a herb garden within the central communal courtyard.

“The existing native trees on the site have also been included in the landscape plans,” Mr Coulton added.
