Malling & Co Markets hits nr. 1 in Norway

Anders Berggren, Malling & Co Markets’ CEO, says: “The rental and transaction market in 2018 has been positive and we have had growth throughout the business.” The syndication department alone had revenues of NOK 50 million last year.
 
Although Norway is a relatively small open economy that is sensitive to the developments in international economy and stability, the Oslo office market has shown significant robustness during the Global Financial Crisis and the following recovery.
 
Office rents continue on an upwards positive trend and are currently at an all-time high in nominal terms. According to Malling & Co Markets’ research, the general office market in Oslo is expected to see rental increase by up to 10 % for 2019.
