Visual Analytics Provider Qlik Relocates U.S. HQ to King of Prussia

13 February 2018

Savills Studley, the leading commercial real estate firm specializing in tenant representation, announced that it has negotiated a new 62,000-square-foot lease for Qlik’s headquarters relocation to 211 South Gulph Road in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania.

Qlik is the leading visual analytics platform and the pioneer of user-driven business intelligence. The company’s portfolio of cloud-based and on-premise solutions meets customers’ needs from reporting and self-service visual analysis to guided, embedded and custom analytics. Qlik does business in more than 100 countries with over 40,000 customers globally.

In late 2018, Qlik will move from 150 Radnor Chester Road in Radnor, Pennsylvania, where the company occupied four floorplates of traditional office space. 211 South Gulph Road, once a steel fabricating facility, has large floorplates and 30-foot ceiling heights, creating the ideal environment for open, creative space.

Roseview, the landlord of 211 South Gulph Road, will install a new glass curtainwall covering two facades of the building and will add two outdoor collaboration areas with wifi and fire pits, covered parking with solar charging stations, a monument sign at the entrance and a Qlik building sign visible from the Schuylkill Expressway. Qlik employees and visitors will benefit from access to King of Prussia’s numerous restaurants and hotels. Savills Studley Senior Managing Director Tim Monahan and Managing Directors Perry Kaplan and Elaine Marquardt represented Qlik in the transaction along with Senior Workplace Strategist Andrea Borrelli, who provided workplace strategy consulting. Joseph Corcoran and Brian Urban of The Flynn Company represented Roseview.

“Qlik became our client after six lease amendments that reflected years of growth and five expansions. The company’s space was located on four separate floorplates as it expanded over the years and the new space is purpose-built with a united layout conducive to productivity in a fast-paced, high-tech company culture.” said Monahan.

“We are excited to reinforce our commitment to the greater Philadelphia area. After an extensive search, 211 South Gulph Road stood clear as the best space for Qlik's future headquarters. The design reflects a modern, highly collaborative creative space, and it allows hundreds of people to be located on one floor for more interaction. We are pleased that the space provides both an energizing place for the Qlik team to work in and an improved branding opportunity,” said Steve Owens Senior Director Global Procurement & Real Estate at Qlik.
