Savills Studley, the leading commercial real estate advisory firm specializing in tenant representation, has announced that the firm’s Dallas office will relocate to the Chase Tower at 2200 Ross Avenue within Dallas’s Commercial Business District. Beginning in February 2018, the firm will occupy the Class A building’s entire 8,100-square-foot 48th floor.
“Like the North Texas office market and broader economy, the roster of talented professionals and transaction activity within our firm’s Dallas office has experienced significant growth in recent years,” said Savills Studley Executive Managing Director and Dallas Co-Branch Manager Frank McCafferty. “Our new space in Chase Tower will provide an expanded and more collaborative work environment for our employees, and is at a strategic location in close proximity to a wide range of businesses, trophy assets and developments contributing to the region’s continued growth story.”
Savills Studley’s new Dallas office features a 15 percent square footage increase and 30 percent headcount capacity increase from the firm’s previous space. The office will include a new, open floor plan designed by DLR Staffelbach that emphasizes increased collaboration and efficiency through multiple gathering areas and huddle rooms, improved sightlines, flexible furniture and minimalist private space. As the single tenant on the 48th floor, the workplace will feature 360 degree views of the Downtown Dallas skyline.
Savills Studley’s Dallas office was formed in 2000 and is led by McCafferty and Executive Vice President and Co-Branch Manager Kelly Winn. Specializing in tenant representation, professionals in the office have executed a diverse range of complex transactions for space users in the Dallas region and across the country. Over the last year, the office has completed large scale North Texas transactions for various tenants, including Expeditors International, Blue Cross Blue Shield and Sirius XM.
Savills Studley has added multiple teams and experienced professionals to join the firm’s significant and expanding portfolio account management business in recent years, including the Dallas and Phoenix-based team led by Executive Managing Directors Charles Daggett and Dina Zavislak. Since joining the firm in January 2017, Daggett and Zavislak’s team has landed several new portfolio accounts and added a significant number of highly experienced Dallas-based experts to their team. The team has already completed in excess of 1.3 million square feet of transactions year to date for their portfolio of clients, which include multiple Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 companies. This team is servicing clients both nationally and globally which has been a significant value-add in joining the Savills Studley organization with its global presence.
Built in 1987 and designed by world-renowned architect Richard Keating of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, the 55-story Chase Tower is an iconic piece of the Downtown Dallas skyline. On Ross Avenue, one of the Commercial Business Fistrict’s premier throughways, the building location offers easy access to the Dallas Arts District and Uptown submarket. In 2015, the building’s rotunda was renovated and transformed into the largest multi-tenant corporate fitness facility in Texas.
